Book in fine condition. Dustjacket in very good condition, spine ends slightly rubbed. 224pp, including Bibliography and Index. With 16 black-and-white photographs. How a number of the Royal family served for a period of time in the Royal Navy. The first truly professional royal sailor was William IV who was blooded in battle before he was 15, and following his great-uncle's example Prince Alfred, the second son of Queen Victoria, devoted his life to a naval career.
