Book in very good condition, ends of spine slightly bumped, and fore-edge and top edge slightly foxed, a few pages have one or two spots of foxing at front edge. Front endpaper has two light creases, and tiny nick at top edge. Dustjacket in very good condition, ½" closed tear by back top edge of spine, spine ends and top outer corner edges slightly rubbed, spine slightly faded. ix, 100pages. With frontispiece and 15 illustrations. Inscription by the author on front endpaper 'To Sidney Bostin with the author's best wishes. A.LI Matthison Xmas 1956.'
