With 47 black-and-white photographs. The letters of Brian Johnston - (famous radio and television personality known as 'The Voice of Cricket'). From when he went into boarding school in 1920 until he was demobbed in 1945, he wrote a letter to his mother almost every week. The letters cover Brian's years at Eton and Oxford, his job in the family coffee business in London, Hamburg and Brazil, and his service with the Grenadier Guards during the war.
