Book in very good condition, has been rebound and with new endpapers. Back board has a sctratch line (see picture). Frontispiece has tiny piece missing and some foxing and other side of frontispiece is marked (as if a label has been taken off), and has previous owner's inscription. Half- title page has 4 marks where cellotape has been removed, tiny bookseller label on front free endpaper. Pages 345 to 356 are rough-cut at front edge. Page 352 has the word 'FIERY' written in red crayon (pale). Page vi and page I have marks at top and bottom by inner edge where tape has been removed, otherwise pages are clean and bright. A very good tight copy. (8"h x 5½"w) (20cms x 14cms) approx.
