Hardcover with navy blue boards which are in fair condition. Front and back boards have whitish marks on them. Spine ends are rubbed and with small nicks, small pieces missing at bottom spine edge and along part of front edge of spine (see picture). Inside hinges on both boards a bit loose, but book is still a very tight copy. Light browning to endpapers. A few spots of foxing on frontispiece and title-page. Page 29 has 1" approx . tear at top edge. Rest of pages are clean and bright. xii, 234pp, including index. With frontispiece and 16 illustrations.
