Covers in very good condition, spine slightly rubbed also rubbed a little in places on back cover (see picture), internally in fine condition. 120pp. With numerous black-and-white photographs and drawings throughout the book. Covering 125 years of Snow Hill Railway Station in Birmingham from inception to final closure and demolition. From the beginnings in 1852 through various re-building projects and describes the station's activities in peace and war. Snow Hill was closed in 1972 and re-opened in 1999, the beautiful Victorian building is there no more just a faceless modern development. (8½"h x 6½"w) (21.5cms x 17cms) approx.
